P.S. 130 students continue a digital-access legacy

UA3 returned to P.S. 130 as laptops were awarded to five winners of the school’s 2025 essay contest.
This moment traces back to 2012, when fifth grader Sean Hong received an iPad through an essay contest and, after seeing classmates without similar access, worked with his sister Kai to raise funds for mini iPads for graduating fifth graders.
The 2025 essays were selected for their ideas and real solutions, continuing UA3’s long commitment to educational equity and digital access.
